Joe Bardin is an essayist, playwright, screenwriter and immortalist. His literary nonfiction has appeared in the Louisville Review, Superstition Review, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Eclectica, Rock & Sling, JMWW, Burrow Press Review,  Coldnoon and Pithead Chapel, among others.

In the summer of 2018, he has four short plays in production. Theatre Artists Studio’s Summer Shorts is staging Intermission, about a couple trying to decide whether to stay with a play and each other. Space 55 will stage How to Quit Writing, a satire about workshops. And Herberger Lunchtime Theatre is producing Marketing Committee, nominally about the tension between art and commerce, as well as its own production of Intermission.

His play, Infinity Mirror, was read by the La Jolla Theatre Ensemble in August, 2017 in San Diego at RAADfest.

His screenplay, Seeing Maya, was a semi-finalist in the 2016 Rhode Island Film Festival.

His play, Love Disorder, a comedy about relationships, performed at the Herberger Theater, Kax Stage in Phoenix in November 2014, the Arizona Republic described as “snappy, clever and irreverent” comparing the humor to that of the hit sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”. But really, it’s funnier.
